求助mysql安装问题
我是linux ubuntu的机器，安装mysql，要启动的时候提示说ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2）
我在run里面根本找不到mysqld。。。。更别提mysqld.sock了
网上找的答案也千奇古怪，这到底是什么原因？

看看 more /etc/my.cnf

[client]
#password = your_password
port = 3306
socket = /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock

# Here follows entries for some specific programs

# The MySQL server
[mysqld]
port = 3306
socket = /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock

看看你安装的mysql是数据库放在那里了？

还有一个情况就是，你的mysql数据库路径不是默认的安装路径的话，你需要把你修改后的数据库的路径 到/etc/my.cnf中配置一下
