关于fc6无法安装的问题,急
最近买了张fc6,从光盘启动安装,在确认从图形化界面安装,并检测时出现以下信息便无法继续了:
            mp-bios   bug:8254   timer   not   connected   to   io-apic
            rtying   to   set   up   timer(IRQ0)through   the   8259A.....failed
            rtying   to   set   up   timer   as   virtual   vire   IRQ.....failed.
            trying   to   set   up   timer   as   extint   IRQ.....failed;c.
            kernel   panic   -   not   syncing:io-apic   +   timer   doesn 't   work!   boot   with           apic=debug   and   send   a   report   then   try   booting   with   the   'noapic '   option.


我也曾从光盘安装红旗linux,也是这种情况,希望哪位大虾能指点一下!

你用的是什么老机器啊，刷个新点的bios试试

换个FC5试试。

安装时在控制台加入boot=noapic就可以了，主要是bios是非标准的。

我也遇到过同样的问题呀
只要在BIOS中将电源中有一项 apic 改为disable 就可以了
